Where’s all the love gone?

When our grandparents used to shop at the grocers chances are he greeted them by name, knew what they usually bought, may have put the last pack of tea to one side because he knew they’d be coming and instantly knew which new products they’d be interested in. He was like a friend and our grandparents would never have dreamt of shopping anywhere else. What wouldn’t you do for that kind of loyalty?

Service design takes a look your organisation’s challenges through the eyes of the people you serve: how well do your organizational processes meet their needs? That may involve your website, service interiors, products, communications: whatever it takes to make your customer feel loved and valued.

What does your organization mean to them and what could it mean to them? That’s the question.
